Preventive dental services
Preventive dental services these include regular dental check up, oral health instructions and education, application of topical fluoride especially in the younger patients(children), scaling and polishing(cleaning of teeth to prevent gingival and periodontal disease), pits and fissure sealing.
Rehabilitative dental services
the services offered include both fixed and removable dental prostheses. The removable dental prostheses include both rigid and flexible dentures; which can be partial replacing a single tooth to a few teeth or complete replacing and entire arch especially in the elderly who have lost almost all their teeth. The fixed prostheses include implants and bridge work. The bridges can either be hand made as in porcelain fused to metal or computer generated as its with CAD cam
Orthodontic services
Services offered involves the alignment of teeth in simple to intermediate cases. The complex cases r normally referred to an orthodontist whom the clinic has a very good working relationship with. The surgical team and orthodontist once in a while team up and offer orthognathic surgery(jaw relation surgery) that is later supplemented with orthodontic treatment to get acceptable teeth alignment and jaw relations
Restorative dental services:
Include all dental fillings. Divided into temporary , intermediate , and permanent dental fillings. The temporary fillings involve the use of acid-base cements that can last between two weeks to a month (e.g. zinc oxide eugenol filling), intermediate fillings last between a month to about 6 months and involve use of intermediate cements such as resin modified zinc oxide eugenol cements, zinc polycarboxylate or zinc phosphate cements. Sometimes, it can also include the use of modified glass ionomer cements . The permanent fillings involve the use of dental composites (tooth colored fillings ), which come in different shades to cater for the variation in tooth color, and dental amalgam (black metallic fillings- most people prefer the composite) which is normally used on the posterior teeth and can last between a year to several years
